Birthday Gifts

Beverly’s Birthdays provides birthday gift, Cheer Boxes, for Allegheny County CYF. All regional offices, Intake, and Permanency have a designated representative who places orders on behalf of the office. Caseworkers are encouraged to provide gifts for any children on a non-placement case.  Beverly’s Birthdays provides birthday cheer boxes for placement cases directly to the placement agency.

Birthdays in a Bag

Beverly’s Birthdays provides Birthdays in a Bag, party packages with cake mix and frosting, for Allegheny County CYF. All regional offices, Intake, and Permanency have a designated representative who places orders on behalf of the office. Caseworkers are encouraged to provide these, when appropriate, with a gift, for any children on a non-placement case.

Milestone Recognition

In partnership with TAY team, Beverly’s Birthdays supports special milestones for youth in care. We acknowledge holidays, graduation, special accomplishments, bereavement, jobs/internships, school achievements, just because moments, and more.  If you have a youth in need of this type of support/recognition, please contact his/her educational liaison or TAY staff member to submit a referral.

Itty Bitty Diaper Bags

Beverly’s Birthdays provides Itty Bitty Birthday Cheer Diaper Bags to all regional offices, Intake, and Permanency to celebrate the “BIRTH”day. These diaper bags are designed for new babies (0-3 months) or expecting families. These bags can be distributed to any non-placement or placement-based case.

Babies in the Burgh Resource Cabinets

In September 2022, Beverly’s Birthdays, through the baby division Beverly’s Babies, installed cabinets containing baby/toddler items in all regional offices, Intake, Permanency, and Placement Stability.  Caseworkers have access to these cabinets to obtain product for any baby/toddler associated with CYF (non-placement and placement cases). These cabinets exist to support basic critical goods for families/children in-need. If there is an item in need that is not provided in the cabinet, follow the instructions listed on the cabinet as to how to make a referral.

Note: There are also cabinets located at Bair, TRAC, A Second Chance, and Auberle.

Pregnancy Resource Support

New in the 23-24 contract term, the Beverly’s Babies division wants to ensure we support any youth who are expecting and/or high-need cases with an adult who is expecting.  If you have a case that needs connections to pregnancy/birth services, resources, and goods, caseworkers can reach out directly to pregnancy@beverlysbirthdays.org to process a referral for additional support.  A member of the baby division will connect with the caseworker and determine the next steps to help support the youth or family.
