Through our work, we manage The Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank, provide free community baby showers, critical baby care items, and resource support for over 4,000 BABIES IN THE BURGH.Ask for Support
We provide in-person FREE community baby showers all throughout the region. These events are designed for expecting women and parent/families of a newborn (0-3 months). Attendees receive baby items, connect to resource providers, and are celebrated and supported.Learn More
We provide our partner network with Itty Bitty Diaper Bags for their expecting clients. These bags contain: diapers, wipes, a bottle, book, pacifier, hygiene items, a sleeper, and Safe Sleep information. We distribute over 2,200 of these bags annually.
This referral-based initiative supports families with a child, 0-12 months, with critical baby care items, up to four times, in the babies first year through our partnership with Hello Baby and Allegheny County Family Centers. In Armstrong, Fayette, and Westmoreland counties we support families with children up to 36 months of age (agency referral only). Launching in summer 2023, our Bottle Babble program is a series of initiatives centered around supporting families who are asking for help. The product we provide families has deep purpose and we want ensure families are connected to resources in the community to further support them. Out Bottle Babble Bundle Kits will be made available to first time formula bank users, and we will feature resources/educational videos on our social media channels. Celebrating and supporting families takes a community of care. We are proud to partner with over 100 service providers in the region who exist to help support and care for families. These providers span all lanes of Social Determinants of Health and participate as educational consults, resource providers, and direct support professionals.
